Transition to Kindergarten

Smart Beginnings Shenandoah Valley recognizes the transition to kindergarten is an exciting experience but it can also lead to apprehension …for children and parents.  For many children, this is the moment they have been waiting for – “going to the big school.”  For many parents, this transition is met with mixed emotions – excitement that their child is growing up coupled with apprehension that their child is growing up.  To help ease the transition, information and communication is often the key for parents.
